Olive Garden needs to listen to its customers and shareholders

This article shows everything that is wrong with the current leadership at Olive Garden.  There is an Olive Garden restaurant located in close proximty to my home.  Do I go there with my husband?  Do I take my kids there for lunch? Never.  At least, not after the first time we went there shortly after it opened.  The food is just OK as far as Italian food is concerned.  It is not bad enough to be an insult to Italian grandmothers everywhere, but it ain't great.

The article provided in the link describes a recent meeting in which a shareholder offered a presentation that included comments from patrons and other shareholders.  Problems with the food were a recurring theme.  Perhaps the company needs to listen to these shareholders and focus on the food before worrying about things like adding tablets for efficiency.  Who cares about efficiency when my spaghetti is a blob of wet dough with sauce smothered on top?
